What we do

Three words on the shield, three kinds of work. Every engagement starts with a conversation and a walk through your building.

Preparedness

Security & Safety Assessments

A full walk of your site with a chief's eyes, and a written report you can act on.

We walk your property the way someone looking for a weakness would, then the way a first responder would arrive. Entries, sightlines, lighting, locks, cameras, visitor flow, where people gather and how they would get out.

You get a plain-language report ranked by what matters most, not a sales sheet for equipment. Most of what we recommend costs little or nothing.

  • Schools, churches, offices, retail, clinics and public buildings
  • Entry, perimeter and interior review
  • Camera, alarm and access-control coverage
  • Ranked findings with practical fixes

Planning

Emergency Operations Planning

Plans people can run from memory, built for your building and your people.

A plan that lives in a binder nobody has opened is not a plan. We build emergency operations plans for the events that are actually likely where you are — intruder, fire, medical, weather, utility failure, a threat made online — and keep them short enough to use.

Then we test them with your team, on paper and on your feet, until the plan matches the building.

  • Emergency operations plans and lockdown procedures
  • Reunification and family-communication plans
  • Tabletop exercises and walk-through drills
  • Coordination with local police, fire and dispatch

Training

For staff, leadership, boards and volunteers — what to notice, what to do, what to say. Plus firearms training from beginner to advanced.

Most people freeze because nobody ever told them what their job is on a bad day. We teach it in plain terms: situational awareness, recognizing concerning behavior, de-escalation, what to do in the first minute of an emergency, and how to work with responders when they arrive.

Sessions are built for your audience — teachers, ushers, front-desk staff, managers, boards — and fit into a staff meeting or a half day.

We also provide firearms training for shooters at every level, from the first-time beginner to the advanced shooter.

  • Emergency response for staff and volunteers
  • Situational awareness and de-escalation
  • Front-desk and visitor-management training
  • Leadership and crisis-decision training
  • Firearms training, beginner to advanced shooters

Questions

Do you only work with schools?

No. Schools are a large part of the work, but the same layers protect a church on Sunday, a clinic lobby, a small office or a city building. If people gather there, we can help.

Are you going to tell us to buy a lot of equipment?

No. Most findings are about doors, habits, sightlines and who knows what. Where equipment genuinely helps, we say so and tell you what matters and what does not.

What does an engagement cost?

It depends on the size of the site and what you need after the walk. The first conversation is free; after that you get a clear quote before any work starts. Ask us.

How far do you travel?

We are based in Liberty Lake, Washington and work across the Inland Northwest. For work farther out, ask — it often works.
